A beautiful Bowie Knife for sure!! It is made of Alabama Damascus Steel from end to end. The blade was etched to bring out the swirling Damascus pattern in the steel. The bolsters are made from Damascus steel from Blue Springs Forge. They were heat colored to add color and show off the intricate pattern in the steel. The handle scales are beautiful Snakewood. Extremely hard, dense exotic hardwood. The blade is 6 1/4 inches long. The top edge is a false edge. The total length of the knife is 11 1/4 inches long. Filework is included along the top of the blade.
